Rain

She snuggles under the covers. Listens to the wind howling and the rain pouring down outside. Oh how safe she feels wrapped up in her blankets and soft pillow cushioning her head. She gets goosebumps as she wraps herself tighter.Its so nice to be warm and safe in bed while Mother Nature plays her games.She hugs the hot water bottle as she drifts off. How she loves the rain.

She pulls her thin jumper tighter around her tiny body.She feels the cold bite into her and she can feel it in every bone. As the rain starts she runs to find some shelter, shivering..her teeth rattling. She hides in a corner between two shop buildings.Her heart beats fast as the wind whips her face.She puts her head down to stop the rain wetting it. Oh how she wishes for a blanket and a bed to stay warm. How she hates the rain. copyright gothgirl 2009
