She watches them from across the park. She sees them holding hands. She sees him look into her eyes with affection. She sees them kiss. And it breaks her heart. She was watching her ex boyfriend. And her best friend. How could they do this to her? She knew she had broken up with him but why did he have to pick her best friend? And her best friend didnt care that she was hurting her feelings.

Her best friend didnt even ask if it was ok to go out with him. If she minded or not? If she could handle seeing them both together. If it would affect their friendship? She watched them and she felt jealous. She felt anger and hatred. She wished she could be happy for them but she couldnt. As they were rubbing it in her face. And it made her seethe. She felt they were heartless to her feelings. As she watched him wrap his arms around her she thought she was going to throw up. She used to be that girl. She used to be the one who he held. And she wanted him back now. Suddenly she turned away. What was she thinking? She had broken up with him. Not him with her. She had wanted more. He had been nice at first but then his love for her has passed and he no longer looked at her like he had at the beginning. Like he was doing now. With her best friend. He had changed into an uncaring soul. His friends had been more important. He never called her. He had never cared towards the end. So she had ended it. As it was pointless. So with this in mind she turned and walked away. Letting go of them both. For her best friend knew what he was like and she would be his next puppet. Good riddance to them both. For she was no best friend for doing that to her. And he was her ex so why should she care? She walked away leaving them both in eachothers arms. And hoped they were happy..while it lasted. But she never spoke to them again. For even though she had broken up with him she still felt it was wrong for him and her best friend to have done that to her. copyright gothgirl 2008
