Revenge?

Her name was Samantha. She was beautiful. SHe was popular. She was smart. Al the boy wanted her. All the girls wanted to be her. But he hated her. He hated her so much. For he knew what she was really like. He had fallen for her beauty. And asked her out. And she had looked him up and down. Rolled her eyes. Laughed at him, and walked away.

She had made a fool of him. Like she did to others. Infront of all her friends. Infront of everyone. And now she was going to pay. As he could not control his anger towards her for humiliating him. He knew the police could trace such things as computers and cell phones. So he decided to do it the old fashioned way. Wearing gloves so there were no fingerprints he wrote with strange writing that no one would recognise.

Saying she better watch her back. He wanted to start off simple to see her reaction. He posted it that evening. The morning after she received it he watched with satisfaction as she waved the letter around showing everyone and looking around suspiciously at people. She did not even glance at him though. As it was months ago she rejected him. And probably did not even remember he existed. He waited a week then sent another. This one said.."I am coming to get you soon. Dont sleep too deeply Samantha." He laughed as he popped it into a postbox 5 suburbs away.

She was not at school the following day. But he heard her friends whispers about her being so scared and that the police had been notified. He smiled to himself and debated what to do next. His hatred for her kept his anger fueled.

He broke down and dropped to the ground. This was all too much. How could he be Samantha? Suddenly he knew. He knew she reliased that she was adored by others but she treated people like dirt so she had created him to show her how she deserved to be treated for treating others badly. An alter ego. Maybe he had helped her in some way. He hoped so as he slowly disappeared and all that was left was a pretty girl lying on the ground crying for her parents. copyright gothgirl 2008

He decided to send one last note. All he wrote was "Isnt revenge sweet?" He walked 6 blocks to post it. Just as he dropped it into the mail box he heard a voice behind him. He swung around. It was the police. "Hello Samantha," said the policeman. "It's time to come with us I'm sorry to say. Dont be scared as we are not here to hurt you.You are very sick. Your parents have told us you have not been taking your medication. You thought you were being stalked but you wrote those letters to yourself. We have been watching you." The policeman moved closer and smiled. "You are not in any trouble.We just want to help you.Please let us take you back to your parents where they can get you the help you need."

A week later most of the children at school were interviewed by police but he was not for some reason. At least he knew he was not a suspect. He was debating whether to stop tormenting her or if he should give her one more scare as now she looked nervous, haggard and on edge all the time. And she was always looking behind her. Let her suffer he laughed.

A few days later she was back at school and was acting normal but seemed slightly pale. That night he snuck out to a payphone miles away from his house and dialled her number. As luck would have it, she answered. "Scared yet bitch?" he rasped. "Stuck up little slut teaser you are! I hope you rot in hell! Im getting closer to you so watch out!" He hung up as he heard her scream for her parents.
