"Leave her alone! She is better than any of you fake stuck up bitches will ever be." It was David. He grabbed her hand and walked along with her as the other girls watched with open mouths and flushed cheeks of humiliation for being caught. And when she reached her home shewas smiling so much she thought she would never stop. But then he asked her to be his girlfriend. Tears of happiness rolled down her cheeks as she accepted and threw her arms around his neck. They sealed their new relationship with a kiss.

On the walk home from school she was tormented by three of the popular girls. This was a common occurence and she normally did her best to ignore them. Normally they called her ugly or stupid. But today they called her slut and whore. Just as the tears she was holding back began to spill as the taunts got worse, she heard a voice.

He did not have a girlfriend but all the girls liked him. She was plain and knew he would never like her the way she liked him. So she was content having him as a'sort of' friend. So when he gave her a birthday card she was surprised and elated. It was only a card signed 'From David' but to her it was the best present ever. She did not lose the smile from her face all day.

She liked a boy at school in her class. She supposed it was a crush but it felt like love to her. He would say hello to her. She woud blush and smile. In class he would sometmes offer to help her with a math problem. She inhaled his scent as he leaned close to her while explaining.
