And we forget to look at the good things in life. The friends we have. The good health we have. The love we find in others like ourselves. Living in a house with heating and cooling. Food on our plates every night. And a warm bed to sleep in.

We sit here. Wallowing in our own self pity. Of problems we have or had. Past, present and future. Our boyfriend dumped us. Our parents are mean. Our peers torment us. We are too fat. Too ugly. Too skinny. In our own eyes we find every fault we can.

We waste so much of our precious life worrying about things that do not really matter in the big scope of the world. Does she like me? Does he like me? What will they think? And then we spend so much time wondering if we are better off out of this dismal world. We feel depression and sadness. We want to cry and kill ourselves. We hate and hide away.

We should Live while we can. For life is too short to get stuck on worrying about things. For if we keep on worrying.. one day we will turn around and look in the mirror. And all we will see is a wrinkled old person waiting to die. Who wasted their whole life wishing it was different. Then its too late. And then it is over.
