She gives everything to her friends. She is there when they are sad. She is there when they need a shoulder to cry on. She drops everything as soon as they need her. She worries constantly about them and prays they will be ok..that they will make it through their depressed times and not do anything silly. She is always there for them. Always. And she has never let any of them down.

But isn't it strange how as soon as they are feeling better they dont care for her anymore. They start hanging out with other friends and leave her out. They show love for other friends they have but none to show her. They occaisionally say hello to her but their words are not from their hearts. It seems they only want her around when they need her. So she sits and thinks about what to do. She feels like screaming the words... "You use me! You only use me up!" She feels like crying... "Dont come to me again with your problems when you treat me like dirt afterwards!" She feels lke she doesnt want to talk to them again as she knows she is being used. But..she has a heart. And she cares. And she knows that she could never forgive herself if she told them to go away and then something bad happened when they needed her and she wasnt there. So she sighs and even though her heart is heavy and she wants to just run away and leave them to it..to help themselves for once instead of making their problems hers.. She wont. Because she knows she is a true friend. Even if they are not. copyright gothgirl 2008
