Guardian Angel

I would like to share this story with you. As I think its strange but wonderful. As most of you know, my daughters real father passed away when she was 2 years old. He used to have a favourite song and it was called Light My Fire by The Doors. Also when he got drunk one night he played and sung on his guitar..Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. I will never forget that night. A bottle of Cointreax..a glass each and him singing to me. It was so romantic and I felt so loved.

So after he passed away I was told by many clairvoyants that he was watching over my daughter..and to look for a sign. The first sign I got was when she was almost 3. She had her arms outstretched and I asked what she was doing and she said.."Im giving daddy a hug." Goosebumps or what?? Then shortly after she tells me she dreamt daddy came and played his guitar for her!! She never knew he had one!! As the years went by each time I was sad or she was stressed we would hear the songs Light My Fire or Wish You Were Here on the radio.It was sort of calming and made me smile. About the age my daughter was 15 he became much stronger. If she was upset..like one day we went out and she was not happy. And weirdly enough Wish You Were Here played 5 times that day!! On the radio ..then at this place where we were.. 3 times..then the band playing there that night also played it!! It calmed her. It made me smile.

Sometimes when I think of him or am having a problem I hear the songs. And how weird is this? Last weekend she went out to an all day band concert. I was worried bout sunburn, drinking, idiots etc and could not rid myself of this feeling of foreboding..typical mother worrying i guess. Then she texts me. She tells me that she is wearing the ring her dad gave me when she was born and that she would be protected and safe. I looked to the Heavens and said aloud.."You better watch her!" and smiled. Next second I get another text. "Omg! Wish You Were Here is playing mum!" My heart skipped a beat. I smiled again. Well she was right wasnt she? How could there be so many things to point that he does watch over her? Too many to pass it off as coincincidence I think. So now I trully believe he does watch over her and that makes me feel happy and content. But I still worry!!! lol Thanks for reading this.I wanted to share as I think this is really special.
