Good Bye :(

The shock of sudden death begins The tears flood down our cheeks Our heart aches for the one we lost No solace can we seek. A million things we scream inside Of things we had wished we said Like 'I love you' and 'I care for you' Jumbled fragments in our head. And as we grieve we hate ourselves As we think back to the past Of every horrible word we spat Before differences were settled at last.

When someone departs this Earth We are so full of grief and mourning. A million memories flicker thru our minds Of the good times and the bad times past And the horror of death with no warning. The day starts off so wonderful Birds singing and the sun is shining bright Then a cloud appears from nowhere Phone ringing- black as night.

Something bad has happened But you never have a clue An accident- who can it be? It's someone very close to you. It feels as though your heart has stopped The blood pulses thru your head All you hear are those terrible words So sorry, your friend is dead.

Fly with the angels now Our thoughts are with you , friend We'll treasure the priveledge of knowing you And love you til the end copyright gothgirl 2000

We look towards the Heavens And it seems to be so far Appealing for some little clue That you hear us where you are. We wish that we could let you know How much we really miss you And that life is missing something now And there's a spot in our heart for you.
