Never Give Up

He was waiting when she arrived. As they walked along the beach flashing their cameras they kicked sand at eachother and joked and laughed. After they had finished it was getting dark and she knew it was time for her to go.Sadly. As she said good bye to him he grabbed her hand. "You like me dont you?" he asked her. "Only like for ages.. yes" she said smiling. "Not as long as Ive like you," he grinned and kissed her gently on the lips. She couldnt even be bothered asking why he had not sad something sooner. All she cared about was now. And by the next day they were girlfriend and boyfriend walking hand in hand. She had never been happier copyright gothgirl 2009

They both went to the same high school. But they had never really spoken as they had different groups of friends. Sara really liked Josh and had for a long time. But even though she was popular with her own friends] he didnt seem to notice her at all. They only had one class together which was photography but she had a few of her friends in the class and so did he. Once or twice she had caught him looking at her or so she thought. She could feel his green peircing eyes on her but when she looked up he would glance away. She wasnt normally shy unless she liked a guy so she had no hope with talking to Josh. And she didnt want her friedns to know as she knew they would tell him and she did not want that either. She tried to think of ways to make him notice her. A bit more make up here. A dress or two there. A different hair style. But still he didnt say anything to her. So she decided to give up on him and went back to her normal self.

One day in photography class the teacher told them he was pairing people off in teams and handed them an assigment. To take photgraphs in different light phases. As the teacher began pairing off she was stunned to hear her name called to be with Josh! He looked at her and for the first time he smiled. She blushed and smiled back. They had to take photos of the sunrise,sunset,day time and night. The teacher asked them to sit together to discuss the assignment. Josh sat next to her and began talking like he had known her for years. She felt so relaxed with him. They decided to meet at the beach near sunset to take photos of the sun going down. She was so excited.
