"Im...." He paused, then his smiled a cruel smile "I'm your brother." He chuckled softly to himself. "I thought you would remember me." Ellen widened her eyes in fear, he brother was put in a mental hospital last summer. He had tried to murder the kids in the kindergarten across the street and claimed it was because they were demons. "Nath.....Nathan?" Ellen stammered. Her heart was racing, she knew this wasn't good for the baby, she also knew Nathan was capable of anything and that she had to get the police. no matter how much it hurt to dob her own blood. He smiled at her again, and pulled out and small bloody knife for his jacket pocket. He smiled at her and turned away. "I'm just going to wash my hands, okay?" He called over his shoulder. Ellen reached for her mobile in her pocket, quickly she dialed 000 and with baited breath she quickly told the police where she was and what was happening to her. "We'll be there as soon as we call." The women on the other end reassured her. With a pang Ellen realizeed that this might be the last human she'll ever talk to, apart from her mental brother. He entered the room again, Ellen slipped the phone into her pocket. Luckily, he hadn't heard a thing. He walked towards Ellen slowly, a sick smile slowly taking over his face. Ellen sobbed, and held her belly. Nathan stepped closer, and looked Ellen in the eye. "You know why I'm doing this don't you?" He asked. Ellen stared at him in shock, not sure what to say. He frowned, and answered for her. "That thing inside you is a demon, can't you see? Its sucking the life from you!" Ellen sobbed, and looked away, willing the police to come. She didn't care about this manic in front of her anymore. She could hear faint sirens, and she hoped they hurry up. She looked back up at Nathan, who was still standing there, staring at her rounded belly. The sirens got louder and louder until finally the police burst through the door. they handcuffed Nathan and took him away. It was all over, she was safe.

I'm Joey Rayburn" he says. Her heart stops at the sound of his name. It couldn't be he passed away so long ago, and her mind slowly wandered into the old memories of her and her best friend playing in the park. "No it can't be. Joey died 7 years ago in a train accident." she blurted angrily "Is that what you think, you think I died?" he almost sounded hurt, and slightly shocked. Ellen just curled up and cried over the baby in her stomach all she wanted was to be home in her husband’s arms. "I've been watching you for a while, you look at him like he's god, and I followed him a couple times too, in the last week he's been to the bar three times and to the strippers club at the end of town twice. Some guy he seems to be, how long you been married?" she glared at him while he said this. He said it so casually like they were talking about a movie or a book. "What the fuck do you want from me you psycho?!" she yelled "Ellen honestly, I'm hurt more than you are, I came back because I wanted to see you and you’re with some weird guy and you're pregnant. Some best friend you are...” "I'm not your friend I don't even know you" she said wiping her eyes. All of a sudden his arms were around her and he was hugging her kissing her neck. She pushed and shoved, screamed for help and then he was gone, she couldn’t feel him and she couldn’t see him. Her heart was racing threatening to rip out of her chest. There was a bang and she heard something fall. She cried and screamed, no one was there anymore she could tell. She tried to find something, anything to get her out, that’s when she found his body, at first she panicked and freaked out. When the realization hit her that she was stuck in this room and no one knew. She searched his pockets for keys maybe a flashlight or cell phone. There was nothing and the last sound she heard was the piercing sound of her own scream.

oh i know your pregnant, said the man. don't you remember me.? I'm the one. he stepped out of the shadows. ellen shook her head slowly " the one what, I don't know you." the man sat beside her reaching out to stroke her hair. " you must remember the nightclub in town,I bought you a drink, your friend had left cos she felt ill. It'll be about 9 month ago. you shouldn't really accept drinks from strangers ya know, did it taste funny,maybe you should of went home with your friend". ellen stared at him, he was quite cute, she remembered some of that night, she got home safely, in a taxi at about 3am. "believe me, he said, we rocked the place, especially when we went back to mine for a coupla hours". he got up and walked slowly to the door," by the way, when are you going to tell that husband of yours".

im the person who just could never forget you especially your beauty, and the way you talked. im your exboyfriend jeff. i just wanted to see how your or should i say OUR baby is doing." he was skulkily walking around ellen. Ellen said "jeff this isnt your baby! its mine and my husbands youre not in my life anymore! leave me alone!!" At that point jeff said "im sorry but i cant do that quite yet. i need to put you in as much pain as possible like you did to me. im going to make the rest of your life missurable." Ellen had finnally adjusted to the night so she saw jeff lift up his foot and in realization she screamed "NOOO!!!" at that poit it was to late, jeff kicked with his full force at her stomach. Ellen fell to the ground curled in a ball just crying. she laid there feeling her babys final kick. Ellen said "you cant get away with this. im going to call the cops once i get home!" Jeff countered back "i dont think you will be doing that or seeing your precious husband again." At that point jeff pulled out a gun and shot her in the forehead. Both the mother and her unborn baby were found the next day dead laying in the appartment. Jeff was found a month later and sentenced to death.
