Afraid
For she can never escape the clutches of his cold hands on her tiny body. She cannot run for she has nowhere to go. She comes up for air. And she can hear him now. Closer he comes. The door opens. She begins to shiver.
She is afraid to go to sleep. She is afraid to close her eyes. For the bad man will come if she does. She lies awake each night. Dreading the sound of his footsteps, coming closer. She hides under the blanket and covers her ears as she does not want to hear him coming for her.
He stands above her. She can feel his breath on her face. His touch is like ice. He does not care if the tears flow down her cheeks. She grits her teeth. Ready for the pain. Daddy knows best copyight Gothgirl 2009

i know how it feels to be afraid of the father figure in my life. even though it brought up thoughs memories its brilently writen. i keep trying to make a glog about that and you have writhen it so well
